I have reaffirmed my desire to have goats in my life. Thank you to the many goatherds I talked to about advice for getting started!

People talk about "releasing" software, stop doing that!

Software raised in captivity cannot survive in the wild! Feral software is also a big threat to digital biodiversity. Do not release software.

I've been posting is aquarium too much, but I found my cool neon tertra neon sign.

Japanese maple thinks it's almost autumn. I can hardly wait.

@neauoire @dualhammers btw, you can use these radios for emergency purpose whether licensed or not. call for help on 146.52mhz or 446mhz (standardized “calling” frequencies that people typically monitor), or keep note of the frequencies of local repeaters. I always carry my radio w/me if I go offroading or hiking ^_^

Local wildfire is 30% contained and evacuation warnings have been lifted. Glad our preparations ended up as a drill. I definitely have extra incentive to work on some small-scale woodland management.

Today I am grateful for each hour my house has not been burned down by a wildfire.

And thank you to the hardworking snails for prepping the tank!

I thought the Zero was going to be a gimmick but they've been sending incredibly technical and fascinating blog posts/emails about everything from the manufacturing process to infrared protocol decompilation. Shoutout to that team for making a hands-on RF education system (and also hacking tool) blog.flipperzero.one/
